If you would love to live with less physical tension or pain, feeling more normal to do the things you love, I can help.

I offer a system of Integrative Bodywork (also known as Rolfing®, or Structural Integration)The techniques target connective tissue - especially fascia and nerves.  It may look like massage, but it is quite different.  It helps to bring your body, your posture, and your movements into a more normal physical state for you as a unique individual.  Being more normal physically often means living with a lot less tension or pain.

Within the human body is a system of connective tissue which includes sheets and webs of fascia. Fascia is everywhere, holding everything together - bones, organs, nerves.  And it has remarkable self-healing capabilities.  When you hear that you are 60% water, much of that water is making up your connective tissue, including fascia.  Water moves.  Water changes.  So can your fascia, and so can you!

Fascia can get overwhelmed by the challenge of modern living. Stress and injury can cause it to tighten up all over - irritating nerves, restricting movement and compressing the body down.  The hands-on techniques which Integrative Bodywork provides allows this web-like system to re-organize itself into a more normal physical state of movement and ease.  Tension and pain are often reduced or eliminated.

In addition, my Micro-Movement Education specific to Integrative Bodywork sessions provides simple ways to continue progress on your.

If you are looking to live your life more fully, and more physically, at any age – really feeling good doing the things you love – I can help with this effective system of Integrative Bodywork.
